So this week was pretty easy going, which was kinda fun. We got a lot of calling done and a lot of little projects done!
On Monday we did a pretty relaxed preparation day! It was nice 🙂 we did some shopping at Jurong East, then Sister Lenhart and I went back to the apartment and wrote letters/napped. All in all, it was nice. Then after p-day we went and delivered Christmas trees to less actives, which was fun, even if none of them were home, we still spread Christmas cheer 🙂
On Tuesday we had a district meeting, then Sister Lenhart was sick so we came home and she rested while I called potentials (I got some appointments set up for later so that was great!!) A really cool miracle actually happened this day: So I had been calling potentials and I got one that RANG and then started speaking Tamil and then said, “This number does not exist.” So I called twice, just to double check that it rang, and got the same message. … So it was weird, but I crossed it off the list anyway. Well, flash forward to a few days later, Tuesday, and we get a call from an unknown number. So I answer and got his name, R, and so I mouthed to Sister Lenhart to look for a ‘Ricson’ in potentials, and she did and it was the number that ‘did not exist’!!!! So we will be meeting with him after he gets back into the country!! Miracles DO happen when you’re diligent, obedient, and are constantly striving!!!!
On Wednesday Sister Lenhart was still sick, so we had another stay-at-home day and I just tried to stay busy with calling and updating and keeping in touch and following up 🙂
On Friday we went on splits with Choa Chu Kang because they had doubled-up appointments, so I went to go teach P again, who is an adorable old man with a LOT of questions!!! It went pretty well, he stayed more on topic than the last time I taught him (we passed him from Clementi to Choa Chu Kang a few weeks ago because he didn’t live in our area) .
Afterwards, we went to go visit a less active who we’d never met named B, she was super sweet! We brought her a Christmas tree advent calendar that the Relief Society had made and she loved it, and we met her sweet Chinese friend (who thought we were both absolutely BEAUTIFUL).
On Saturday we finished planning because we couldn’t finish before, and then we attempted to go visit a less active’s family, but they weren’t home… BUT that’s ok, we butterflied and snowflaked their door and it looked great! Hopefully they call us back 🙂 Then we had a lesson with M (our recent convert) at Sengkang chapel so she could see it 🙂 THEN we met with N, a former investigator who we hadn’t been able to meet with yet! He is half paralyzed and just had a baby, who is named J and is half Filipino half Indian and 100% adorable!!
Then on Sunday we had a delicious dinner with the Gs after church, and then after that we had dinner with N at a barbecue for his baby! We loved it! I love this church! Have a great week y’all! I love you!
